About Me
Katherine Kunz earned an MA in Art and Religion in 2006 from the Graduate Theological Union (GTU). Katherine has officiated numerous weddings and rituals and is currently pursuing doctoral studies in theology.
She has been published in the OCHRE Journal of Women’s Spirituality and presented work at several academic conferences in the areas of Religion, American Studies, and Humanities. She is the co-creator of a performance piece: Sides of a Wall, exploring the possibilities of reconciliation around the Holocaust. She has also led numerous workshops around Art and Spirituality. In addition, she has led pilgrimages to Lourdes, France and Israel and Palestine; youth service projects to the Czech Republic, Italy, and Germany; officiates weddings and other life-cycle rituals; and has preached in local congregations.
Katherine also holds a BA from Ohio State University in International Studies and spent three years working as a youth minister on US Army bases in Europe before continuing her studies.
From 2006-2013 Katherine worked in the Office for Institutional Advancement at Pacific School of Religion as the Director of Advancement and Alumni/ae Relations. She is now Director of Alumni Relations at Dominican University of California.
